Constitution... In Depth
Part 1
Egyptians are to vote in a referendum on a set of constitutional changes, which the opposition has criticized as paving the way for a police state. I believe this is a crucial topic to discuss. Especially that the majority of Egyptians don’t know how does our so-called “constitution” looks like!! In my humble opinion, I believe more than 90% of Youth haven’t read the constitution. And it’s paradoxical to notice that these citizens are the most talkative giving out their political opinions based on what they heard from others!! We as being Pharaohs, always attain such weird ideology of “Kalam naas 2a3da 3ala mastaba”.

I highly recommend that you skim and scan the above links before proceeding in this article. Focus on “Chapter Three: Public Freedoms, Rights and Duties” and on “Chapter five: Part Six”.
Finally, In order to know exactly the set of suggested changes. Now, you are ready to go to

Pay full attention on changes in articles “4, 5, 12, 30, 59, 62, 76, 88, 94, 179, 180”. There are 34 amendments to be added/deleted or changed in the original constitution. These 34 amendments are concerned with 205 articles bearing in mind the constitution articles are only 211! I prefer calling it constitution revolution rather than constitution modification. I will state briefly my perspective regarding the above changes.

- A ban on the creation of political parties based on religion. (Article 5)

- Allow the adoption of a new election law neglecting the need for judicial supervision of every ballot box!! (Article 173)

A blog "modawana" is a place where u can write freely, express ur thoughts, discuss a certain situation, ask help from friends, criticize anything around u, post ur favorite movie..... etc
Anyways, Blogging has been gaining popularity since 2004. And I felt a real urge to start one.
What are the benefits of starting a blog?
Well, I'm trying to create a ring here. In other words, Subscribers of this blog will be somehow connected together thru sharing ideas & comments.

Who will be entitled of posting/reading?
Anyone got email and Internet which is sth I'm sure u do have
